Jeremia 14:3

SV	En hun voortreffelijken zenden hun kleinen naar water; zij komen tot de grachten, zij vinden geen water, zij komen [met] hun vaten ledig weder; zij zijn beschaamd, ja, worden schaamrood, en bedekken hun hoofd.
WLC	וְאַדִּ֣רֵיהֶ֔ם שָׁלְח֥וּ [צְעֹורֵיהֶם כ] (צְעִירֵיהֶ֖ם ק) לַמָּ֑יִם בָּ֣אוּ עַל־גֵּבִ֞ים לֹא־מָ֣צְאוּ מַ֗יִם שָׁ֤בוּ כְלֵיהֶם֙ רֵיקָ֔ם בֹּ֥שׁוּ וְהָכְלְמ֖וּ וְחָפ֥וּ רֹאשָֽׁם׃
Trans.	wə’adirêhem šāləḥû ṣə‘wōrêhem ṣə‘îrêhem lammāyim bā’û ‘al-gēḇîm lō’-māṣə’û mayim šāḇû ḵəlêhem rêqām bōšû wəhāḵələmû wəḥāfû rō’šām:

AC	ג ואדריהם שלחו צעוריהם (צעיריהם) למים באו על גבים לא מצאו מים שבו כליהם ריקם--בשו והכלמו וחפו ראשם
ASV	And their nobles send their little ones to the waters: they come to the cisterns, and find no water; they return with their vessels empty; they are put to shame and confounded, and cover their heads.
BE	Their great men have sent their servants for water: they come to the holes and there is no water to be seen; they come back with nothing in their vessels; they are overcome with shame and fear, covering their heads.
Darby	And their nobles send their little ones for water: they come to the pits, they find no water; they return with their vessels empty; they are ashamed, they are confounded, and have covered their heads.
ELB05	Und seine Vornehmen schicken seine Geringen nach Wasser; sie kommen zu den Zisternen, finden kein Wasser, sie kommen leer zurück mit ihren Gefäßen; sie sind beschämt und mit Scham bedeckt und verhüllen ihr Haupt.
LSG	Les grands envoient les petits chercher de l'eau, Et les petits vont aux citernes, ne trouvent point d'eau, Et retournent avec leurs vases vides; Confus et honteux, ils se couvrent la tête.
Sch	Ihre Mächtigen schicken ihre Geringen, Wasser zu holen; aber wenn sie zu den Brunnen kommen, finden sie kein Wasser, sondern bringen ihre Gefäße leer heim. Schamrot und zuschanden geworden, verhüllen sie ihre Häupter.
